I only used this like 2 or 3 times on my home computer and then switched to a laptop. I have lost the users manual but with a little knowledge this is a very easy hookup.

from what I understand is that this is for using your PC monitor as a TV. You use the box to connect your video game system, DVD player, etc. to and it plays on the monitor?
Nov 14th, 2009 at 9:59:13 PM PST by
Original
That is correct but it can also be used on a tv or projector.

Thank you but specifically on the 3 jacks the red yellow and white ones does it say in or out above them? I can't quite tell on the image myself. Thanks and sorry for the barrage of questions :)

That,s fine no problem. You will have to have a cable hookup to get the channels. The av connections say in on them. They are so you can hookup a game or dvd and so on. There is a audio in and out connection for computer sound and a s.video connection for a tv or such and a rgb output and input to run a computer through.

hey freestuffforyou, I hope u don't mind if I answer steelbeam's question... Yes, you can connect your cable box, or satellite box to it. basically this device provides the same hookups as the tv, but then it connects to the monitor to display the content.
