i, pinkypink will ****never**** ask another seller to message another memeber to view their jewelry and/or items because "they know me & i recommend it!""" this is ludicrous!!!!
as most of you know this site is a lot of fun but one bad apple can spoil it quicker then it would spoil on its own in nature!!!
furthermore, without mentioning names, there is a listian going around messaging my fans, my friends, my watchers, my commenters, & my bidders claiming this member is my friend & i recommend their jewerly & therefore my fans should bid on it! lol this is so far from the truth!!! the stuff people come up with!!!
i felt i would address this on all my auctions!!! i am a seller who has been here 2 years selling genuine jewelry & have been lucky enough to meet some nice people!!!! i do not recommend anyones jewelry or items here unless you see me say so ***myself*** via comments on my own auctions. i will only recommend a user or items if i have personally won from them myself & have had a great experience.
some of the jewelry going around listia is sad & disappointing--- as most believe the 925 stamp means its real.... if you wish to learn more about this 925 stamp & what i am refeering to please read my comments on my citrine ring auction.
anyone who has to message people with false info to get bids, fans, or watchers must have problems doing so on their own & with their own items!!! please remember that.

happens so much on ebay!!! IT comes sooo plated people actually are convinced its real until they wear it in the pool in the summer for a couple days or dip it in jewelry cleaner...... then they see what we mean....
I also feel sellers are using the "stamped 925" as a way of not holding responsibility on their listings, infact a seller admitted this to me!
I'm sorry my response was.... "If you go to the mall & go to jc penny & buy a necklace that says its sterling are you going to question it? No... Because of the USA consumer buying laws of 925 being SOLID sterling silver. However, since we are not retailers, only listia sellers, we have to do our best to represent an item" I don't feel some sellers are doing that.... the response of I said "stamped 925" not sterling is highly unprofessional & should be disputed in any transaction as we are buying in the USA (speaking for those of us who are USA listians) I've even had sellers tell to "Coat in clear nailpolish, as I do mine" REALLY?! That one shocked me.... I had to block the seller... im sorry i'll just be honest I don't like dealing with people who could and/or would respond that way..... not my style

I really don't know that seller and/or block a member because someone asks me too, I'm sorry about your recent experience with this member. However, in the end she did refund your credits. Is she misrepresenting her items based on your claims, Yes. Infact a few have told me the same experience regarding this same member. I don't bid on jewelry here, but I would always hope a seller will kindly represent an item to their most honest capability. I've run into this problem also with makeup in my previous listia history. ALL buyers should really research what they are getting if in doubt, check it out.

I said the same thing, wow & unfortunately the seller never fully refunded that member although I really tried to help.... & is still here posting her fake stuff along with a few "Real deals" to throw people off...... its ashame people must learn the hard way!! As these sellers who are clearly aware don't care about the FTC regulations as they should be!!!! All I can do is block & move on.... but it made me so mad... to know that im paying good money for my genuine stuff yet that seller priced her gins the same as mine selling fakes? IT was so disappointing.... really all my hard work felt wasted... but my husband reminded me to keep trucking along, ill get more toots on my horn the more this becomes apparent to winners as they win my stuff vs. others from china.
Thank you for all your support & kind words on my auctions... I work my behind off & ONLY buy strictly from the USA from a reputable distributor who provides a limited warranty, I have yet (knock on wood) to have a jewelry item come back to have to be repaired... but I can definitely sleep better at night knowing I can provide & pass on such service to my winners!
I just want to also say, for those sellers who may not have ANY jewelry knowledge at ALL & think they are buying the real deal (which is only 2% of sellers here as most CLEARY know what they are doing) Anyhow when approached by a winner that its not sterling.... please handle it fairly.... as you would want someone to treat you. Refund, Replace with the real deal--- when it comes down to it.. how you handle the transaction is how your judged.... It's easy to make a mistake with jewelry especially if you buy on ebay-- just own up & refund.. please..

Hey, incase I ever forgot to tell you... if you have dry skin like me & a farm or garden you get your hands dirty a lot--- go to walmart & buy the jewelry cleaner in the Red container it comes with a little dipping tray & brush its fairy inexpensive!! THAT stuff is the bomb.com lol really it will SHOCK you. Since your like me & wear yours everyday I would highly recommended a good cleaning every 2-3 months.
I guess Austin already was blocked by me? I can't recall why... maybe she wasn't very kind to me one day? but a lot of members warn me about this as well as some others here. I'm not in any way trying to put any member down or discredit anyone.... I just try to help & want people to truly win what they think they have won! I've had members mail me some of this jewelry going around & it shocked me.

The stuff im seeing is coming from other members, & I've actually had them mail me the rings to test/view in person to try to help them verify what indeed they really won... Come to find out not one of them has been real Yet.... But all of these ladies items were purchased from the same 2 sellers so that would explain why. I'm sure there are other sellers selling genuine stuff... not only me... just be alert is all I'm saying :")))
I always list FULL max to the days... Again to give people a chance to win, My gin's usually come with extras not even mentioned on the auction :")

if you mean new members, i would wait until you see a daily goal come up-- listia has these about once a week where if you refer so many friends who joins & completes an auction you get bonus credits for it :") when they do this i think you just give listia their email i believe (althought i may be wrong) its been awhile since ive done this task

Gin= get it now, kinda like a buy it now deal, if you have the credits available you can push the GIN button & the auction is yours Along with any bonus' a seller might add for using Gin. Not all sellers offer GIN bonus but you will find ALL my auctions do.
Badges are earned on "tasks" achieved by listia for example
having completed so many transactions, donating to charity, shipping fast..etc..etc
