This is a gorgeous plant that gets VERY large! Also known as The Travelers palm. The flowers are over a foot long and a beautiful blue and white in color. These can be started indoors and then moved outside once they have outgrown their containers. They need a sandy well-drained soil and should not be planted too close to the house or you will be pruning constantly. They are a tropical plant, but will grow in colder climates...they just wont get as large. Can also be a houseplant in front of a nice sunny window.
