This is a AS IS auction since it is used. It is a SATA 2.5" 80gig. I will be reformating this drive to FAT you can change it to whatever you want to. It does not have a OS on it. I will not help you install this, please use google to help you. I am not a computer tech and I can not tell you if it will work on your computer. Please look up that information to make sure that this will work for you. No remorse bids you win it it's yours. Ask questions BEFORE you bid please I will try to answer them to the best of my know how. Thank you and happy bidding.

You should be able to switch between the two. I think isn't there a jumper that one can use to make a drive either a master or a slave drive?

No GIN are expensive to do and stays as it stands. In order to cover listia fee's and still make it worth my while that is what it is.

I hooked it up a few days ago and reformatted the hard drive to exfat, it showed up and read as a healthy partion. (sp?) Everything was in working order, hope that helps you out. :)
