I would use Alconox but you can use different kind depending on what you're cleaning. ..

oh and hopefully it doesnt leak??? I have an ultrasonic a different brand and its starting to leak..had it for rour years paid forty bucks for it so cant complain.. my basket looks smaller than this one though...hopefully you get this before auction ends!!

it has a lttle crack in the top of the metal basin that is getting bigger everytime i use it slowly going towards the bottom...so thats why i need another one..mine is smaller too so hopefully ill get lucky
