Questions & Comments
oh well, oddly I just listed one that was made in china in C, but not the bluesband model. They play great, but for my collection, only the german made ones will do.
Rebecca, there are harmonica lessons available online. There is a guy that uses a new technique, It involves putting the harmonica much further in the mouth, at an angle. I tried it, contrary to what you would think, it works and is much easier than the standard method that I never could do.
That's one thing you can count on, regardless of where it's made or the price paid, a Hohner that hasn't been abused will always play well and sound good. It's just that for my collection, I stick to the German made, more vintage ones. For playing with, and or resale, any of them are fine by me.
f & w My son is good on the guitar, so I figure I'll get him another instrument to see how he does. He self taught himself on the guitar and when he got so good, I had to go buy him a better guitar lol...I bought him an el cheapo for his 12th bday--he has a better one now and will be 15 in July. Who knew...that he'd be naturally talented! I took him for a free lesson at our local George's Music and the instructor pulled me to the side and said he was a "prodigy" and was well beyond the lessons they were giving for free...
