My son didn't have that problem with his, and the three other auction winners that ended with GIN, before I put up this one, have all been very satisfied too. Maybe it's just a certain brand or style that you had problems with? These are very sturdy and haven't broken yet.

Well it has 6 slots, but more than one card can be put in each slot. I would say about 3 in each slot would be good, so 6 x 3 = about 18 cards comfortably. Just a guess though. :)
