The listing, 1st-gen Square Card Reader has ended.

This is the 1st-generation Square card reader. They streamlined and repaired it long-ago, all done by the same guy that designed the lightning interface for the iPhone 5. The new one uses incredible encryption and is essentially on crack. But the first generation, from what I understand, are available for home projects.
