Hello again I`m back to try for more.
The others are knock on wood doing well so far and would just like to start another pot with them now.
I ended up cutting the long one that you sent me down and made another piece and that gave me an extra. Just can`t wait for them to take off and get bigger and start to bloom like yours are now.

Hey Brianstevebearguy,

Glad to hear they are doing well. They like the potassium from Banana's.
I cut one in half and put it under the soil every few months.

Where are yours growing and are they dark green?Good luck on the bids and thanks !

Just brianbearguy and I have mine growing in a pot right in front of my living room window to get full sun. The leaves are really dark green and I planted them in Miracle grow potting soil and the soil is kinda dry at this time till the roots start. I did wet the ends and dipped them in rooting powder except for the one I cut that had roots on it and I just put it in the soil. I did water it all to get it moist and now I`m gonna let it get kinda dry so I don`t rot it before it has a chance to take off on me.

I`ll have to remember the Banana trick then and see how that works for me.
I think though with the dipping in the rooting powder and in the Miracle Grow I think they will do pretty good for a couple of months.
I just want to get another flower pot of them going if I can so I can have some of them big and soon be on my way to having them blooming also.
Thanks for the advice.

You are correct..rooting powder is good stuff and before you know it you will have blooms....patience is a virtue too.

I think the anticipation of that... is part of the whole experience....love it.

I just got my first 2014 Sunflower bloom and Milkweed Butterfly Seeds...whew hoo!
I have several auctions up for these and you really should bid on my Rhipsalis (awesome) strands feel like cooked spaghetti...cool!
Also, if you have a patio etc...my Loufa seeds grow very good but need a place for them to climb or hang on to.
Stay sweet...Vicky
