The listing, Melted Gold Bar Of Computor Pins. (45.8 g) has ended.
I am auctioning off a 45.8 gram Bar of melted Gold Computer Pins. These are not processes pins. They were removed from the boards and melted to make a bar. I do not know the gold content that is in this bar. All I know is the pins came from older electronics and were heavily plated.
No buyers remorse. All Listia rules apply. Verified addresses required.

from what i have read u should have keept the boards. they are worth more as the boards then scrap.
No. It's a bunch of complete pins off computers and melted as a whole. It contains other metals also. You have to process it with an Aqua regia acid mixture to purify the gold to 24 kt. and dissolve the other metals. Hope this answers your question.
I do the same exact thing bullseye460 but I've just gotten tired of all the work that goes into the process of getting all the pens pulled and my stupid furnace just died on me about a month ago but I still got around 100+ computers to take apart lol
