Let's get started!
This is another very curious Pin/Brooch that I do not have too much info on. If anyone at all has seen anything like this...please let me know!!! This specific piece features a Hammered brass toned metal. The piece is light, as the metal is hammered very thin! The image features an intricate border with a cluster of three flowers at the north, south, west and east of the center image. In between each cluster are interesting square, swirled designs. The center image depicts a man riding a horse, with 4 hounds running alongside and ahead of the steed. Great attention to detail is taken in the surrounding foliage, such as the trunks and leaves of trees, the grass and what looks like a lake in the background. The back of the pin leaves no markings of any kind. A common silver pin back setting is used with a roll over "c" clasp on the back.
