if turquoise is stabilized it will not show its imperfections. If you look at the earlier comments I said I suspected that the turquoise is real but stabilized. Please do research on stabilized turquoise it will be smooth just as this one is. That was the biggest reason for stabilizing it was to present a perfect stone without all the cracks and imperfections

And one that you would think is was but found out its a chock like subtenant and died to look like the real thing you can only tell buy a shave test of it .

thank you for that marlenesupalla... it isn't the easiest thing to do verify whether or not turquoise is genuine.. especially when it is stabilized like this one is which is what makes it look perfect and gives the smooth appearance.

Very Pretty! Could this possibly be "Sleeping Beauty Turquoise" (a genuine stone that has a smooth appearance with Almost or No Imperfections)? There is more information here - http://www.sleepingbeautyturquoise.info/turquoise-characteristics/
I have a Beautiful ring crafted from a local tribe with this stone that this would pair amazing with
I hope you don't mind me placing that link ~ I just thought it might help :-) watching

No I don't mind at all' just shows me that you do your research... My experience with sleeping beauty turquoise this is a little darker but that can happen with age. Turquoise even when stabilized will absorb things from its environment such as perfumes, soaps etc. which will change the color some or alot . I suspect that you are probably right :)
