Ahoy Me Matey's & Wenches!

I've got up for grabs another cute plus size outfit just begging to be worn by a trend setting pirate!!

This shirt is Vintage Torrid, but in great condition. It's a size 2x - which is an 18/20. I only wore it once many many years ago. It says "Warning: Too Much Girl For A Punk Like You!!" This shirt says it all! It's Black w/ red around the neck and sleeves. It was washed so it's lost some of it's original black color. It's nowhere near being faded, but this shirt has been in my closet for many years. There are no stains, holes, rips, etc!

The jean overalls mini skirt is by Mossimo from Target in size XXL. This skirt is daring and well... my pirate cap'n didn't approve of it being so short, so I never got to wear it. It's surely for the daring pirate diva/wench.

Measurements:

Shirt Bust: 48 inches unstretched / 52 inches stretched
Shirt Length: 26 inches
Skirt Waist: 39 inches unstretched
Skirt Length: 13 inches

I found these lingering in my closet and they no longer fit due to my 120 lbs. weight loss. This outfit is just too cute to be wasted and have another summer gone by without being worn by one of my fellow pirate shipmates/wenches.

Thanks! There's no quick fix. It took a lot of time and dedication. I weighed 310 lbs. I had a liver transplant when I was 14. I was diagnosed with diabetes and borderline high cholesterol and blood pressure at age 24. I decided to make a lifestyle change because I didn't want to be put on more medication and the doctor said there was no way I'd ever have a healthy baby with all these things against me. I started walking once a day around my neighborhood and quit eating my BFF McDonald's. I eat lotsa fruits and veggies and no sugar. I work out 2-3 hours a day 5-6 times a week. I still have more weight to lose (about 30-40 to get to my ideal), but I am officially no longer diabetic and have no issues with cholesterol or high blood pressure. I'm in the process of getting a personal trainer to help get over my plateau - I need an extra push. It's been a hard road, but well worth it to wear smaller sizes and feel more confidence in myself.

Fanned and watching! So cute. And congrats on the weight loss! I lost 50 lbs before I got pregnant and had my son, and now I am once again on that journey to lose 50 more. None of my clothes fit anymore, so time to buy a few sizes smaller. Its not easy, but definitely is worth it.

F&W&B congrats on the weight loss. I used to be a size 26/28 and weighed 385 and I too decided I wanted to live and be able to have a baby one day, I lost 200lbs and had a beautiful son when I was 40, lol! So hats off to you g/f, you rock :)
