What a great gift idea!!!

This is one CRAZY COOL watch!! If you want to really turn heads, check the time on this watch while you're talking to someone and they'll probably freak out when they see the LEDs spin up to display the time.

I had a heck of a time trying to photograph the watch while it was lit up because I wasn't fast enough. The fourth photo was my best attempt but is still a little fuzzy. The time shown is 7:28 PM.

Don't pay any attention to the needles on the speedometer, they're only for aesthetic value. Look at the LED to get info. I threw in a couple of stock photos to display more watch detail.

The watch has many features. It displays the time, date, and day of the week. It can be set to turn on the display automatically whenever you want it to in increments of 5 minutes. You can also adjust the brightness of the LED's to suit your taste. There is no alarm.

This is a surprisingly stylish watch and it is actually very well manufactured for the price!

waterproof?

To be honest, the place where I bought it had a picture of one being dunked into a glass of water so they are supposed to be resistant at the very least. But, as I do with nearly everything I purchase, and especially sell, I disassembled one completely to see how they're built. The plate comes off of the back in order to replace the batteries. There is no type of gasket or seal that I could see and the LED housing sits right inside. I have one myself and I don't plan on testing it out in the shower or bathtub. So to answer your question, it is supposed to be but in my opinion it couldn't be. It's possible, however, that the LED housing is waterproof itself and therefore needs no seal on the back.

For sure! It might suit a diver well but I don't think it would do well attached to one while doing so :)
