Up for auction is this regal 18K gold filled ring size 6.5. The brilliant pear cut garnet is lovely. Two baguette cut peridots, amethysts and morganites underline the main stone. Garnet is the birthstone of January, amethyst is that of February, peridot is that of August and morganite is that of October.

These stones are laboratory created, but their properties, chemical, optical and physical, are identical to that of naturally occurring stones. Man made gems are much hardier than their naturally occurring cousins, not so subject to temperature change, drying out, cracking or grazing.
