These are Pruden's Purple Tomato seeds They are a hardy plant that put on up to 1lb fruit(depending on your soils health and growing techniques). The leaves on these plants look much like potato leaves!

Beautiful coloring and great taste!

okay they are called and itialian tomato tree i have about 33 growing right now and can always use more and if you use mircle grow they will get about 8 foot tall use it once a week mine already have tennis ball sized tomatoes on them but i will be planting lots more as we eat alot i just saw the poictures of the plant

These are called pruden's purple(however, depending on where you are some people may call them Italian Tomato Trees, not sure about that though. I just know what I bought. ). I plant three varieties. The prudens purple, mortgage lifters and brandywine.

The mortgage lifters actually put on 2lb fruits I have some of those heirlooms up for auction as well..

And yes they can get even taller than 8' if your conditions are right. I use weekly sprays of compost tea( I use nothing but homemade organic fertilizers) Typically these get to be about 4' tall for the average gardener.

I looked up the Italian Tomato tree, and they are very similar looking plants. But yours puts on a red tomato the prudens purple puts on a pinkish purple fruit. I might be interested in some of your seeds later lol I might start growing a new variety next year
