Description

The listing, Pink Polka Dot Plant Starters (3 seedlings) has ended.

I started these from seed. These are Pink Polka Dot Seedlings.
I know these are houseplants that can last up to two years or more-They will shed their own seed, to keep the plant going.
They like diffused sunlight or basically Shade. Does great in a bathroom with a window or on a kitchen counter. Very pretty!
The winner will receive 3 plants.
These are about 2=3 inches tall. As I post these-they will be growing. when you get them-they are ready for a transplant to a larger pot.

Free Shipping on this one-to see if there is an interest there.

They like partially shade, I just put some new babies in at my new house and they have already begun to spread! You should try it that way too. I used to live in Lawrenceville, Ga and had some in a hanging pot as well. I live back in South Tx now. Let me know if you plant some in ground.

Am I understanding this correctly; you will be shipping a rooted plant that is either put in water to root some more or it can be potted? Do you start with a medium pot? Thank you.

Jun 18th, 2014 at 5:22:39 PM PDT by
Original
Yes, they have gotten large enough to put in a medium pot now-and you will not have to root it-It has plenty of roots!! It likes the shade, with a lil morning sun!!

New fan this is a very cute little plant! How large do they grow? I love the tips you hvae given on this cutie but might have missed the adult size?
Jun 23rd, 2014 at 8:23:48 AM PDT by
Original
I havenot auctioned "adult size", but the pics of them in cups is no longer accurate-as I have repotted them into larger pots-b'cuz they have grown so fast-and that's what the winner will be getting, the larger size. I think they get about 8 inches in height..but they will trail, with long stems flowing out. The stems I had last time got about 1 1/2 foot long, and kept re-seeding itself, so many were n the pot. The are considered annuals-
but I brought mine in from the porch after summer, and they lasted very long in my bathroom on a shelf.

Hey! My last winner! She was my first tester on these, to see if they shipped well. If they growing slow-then something is not right. They like morning sun-but cant tolerate it all day. Mist them daily. Dont let the soil dry out. Try feeding them a Jobe stik or a bit of miracle grow (for nutrients) Pluck the lower leaves off the stems, to nourish the top ones more. Turn the plants everyday-t(they follow the light, so you want to even out the way they lean. See if any of those tips help you out!

Your cat's eyes is what drew me to her/him. Edit your auction the next time you list and put plants instead of seedlings. Yes you have an overwhelming bunch of watchers, 75 at my last count.
Jun 26th, 2014 at 3:23:57 PM PDT by
Original
Omgosh!! I havent looked at the count lately-maybe I can get a 100 watchers badge!!
When I posted these-they were seedlings-but yes I will post plants-ans will do 2-3, I think they look better with a few in one pot!

Wish you had listed them with a GIN. Is that your cat, Sheridan? I'm a cat person as if you couldn't tell by my screen name. I love the plant! Great auction!

Hey Kitty! Yes I have this little booger running around the house-I just LOVE his eyes!! This is the color of them! sorry about not Ginning-I wasnt sure people would like this or not when I put it up. I did one sample auction to test the shipping of them-I had to re-ship to her, changing it up, the second time it worked. So I decided to try again..I am so Overwhelmed at the response I have gotten on these!! I do have plenty more! And they are now Plants-not really seedlings anymore, more like teenagers, Lol
