The listing, Dooney & Bourke Leather Alligator Skin Handbag has ended.

I may have used this bag twice at the most, but it is nice and roomy. The measurements are 15 1/2 inches wide, 6 inchesdeep at the bottom, 9 inches tall and the strap is 11 inches. There is a small zipper compartment inside.

I try to give as much detail as possible about all factors concerning the item, but please feel free to ask me any questions.

Shipping
Now here's the thing. I normally try to ship out as soon as possible, but I work long hours, so that will be most likely the weekend following the end of the auction. If I do not respond immediately to your emails, please be patient with me. My goal is too have items packed and ready to go right after I list them. I try to ship items free when I can, but times are tough and I really like to track items being sent to ensure they get to the winner. So I may not ship out the next day. I like to try to manage the shipping costs myself. All watches are in working order unless otherwise stated.

how are we suppose to check for authenticity if we do not have all the numbers i have won lots of dooney and bourke off here and they always give the number and pictures of it to prove it is authentic, and it will help you get more bids to.

I took the picture just to show that there was a number on the bag. I don't really feel comfortable listing the whole number. This is the first time I have heard of or even noticed the number. I auctioned off another D&B totebag last week and it bid high. Possibly when I list more designer bags and do more research on numbers and the use of them, will start listing/showing the numbers. I do understand that people want to be sure they are getting the real deal, and if they do not feel comfortable bidding and choose not to thats okay. For this listing I'll risk erring on the side of caution. Lol

They tell you what kind of bag it is and if its real. Most Dooneys have them.

If D&Bs are supposed to have them, then this was probably does too since it is a genuine handbag. I do not know when they started putting the on there, but I purchased it some years ago. Now the question I have is...Is the number assigned to the type of handbag or each individual handbag? If it is each individual handbag and you include the number in the listing, is there a chance that some devious person can take that number and use it to pass off a fake D&B? I want to prove it is genuine as much as possible, that's why I try to take pictures of the tags on the outside (though I guess someone can switch those too). I never thought or even noticed the numbers. Hope this makes sense.

Yes it is an authentic D&B bag from QVC. I tried to take a picture of the logo, but it may not be clear. If no one has bid on it by the time I get home from work, I will try to take a picture of the inside. Believe it or not, I thought I did, but it may have been the D&B tote I listed earlier.

Yes, I was holding part of the tag, as I did not realize the function of the numbers. Now that it has been clarified, I have updated the listing with photos of the complete numbers. I did not know if someone could take the numbers from the purse and use it as their own to try to dupe someone into getting a purse that is not genuine.

Hi there, as one of the few people on this site with 6 past D & B catalogs, and a fan of the brand; I have more than a dozen in my possession, this certainly looks real to me. I'm pretty good at spotting fakes. Also, I have a croco bag and it has the same silvertone circle logo tag. Good luck to you! I've been on this site a while, and there is such scrutiny with designer bags, if you've disclosed everything I wouldn't worry about it. You did a great job with the pictures, by the way.

The identification number will give information about the purse but it is not individual to each and every purse. Usually if you do a google search for the serial number and specify dooney and Bourke, it should pull up purses that look like yours. :). Unfortunately, I don't think I can do an inside picture since the item has been bid on. I had taken an inside picture, but I could not located in my gallery. I finally found it, but it was too late to edit my listing. The only compartment is a small inside zippered one. Hope this helps Take care.
