I don't know what happened, because I never dropped it, and I don't remember even hitting it. I was going to do some shooting with it, and I've posted what came up. Otherwise, this is a very beautiful lens. I know there are knowledgeable persons out there that have the ability to repair, and/or salvage this so I am offering this as is, for parts or repair. Someone might be pretty happy if they could tinker with this and fix it.This is NOT an interchangeable SLR or DSLR-type lens that you attach to the camera body lens mount. This is the type of lens that you screw into the camera/video camera lens filter thread (please refer to pic).
