I just couldn't resist this whimsical yet lovely little ring of man-made opal and sapphire-blue Cubic Zirconia in the shape of a daisy.

This ring is a Size 6.5 and is set in .925 Silver (Stamped.) The center stone is a man-made opal measuring approx. 5 mm in diameter, or just under one-half carat equivalent. It's surrounded by eight 3 mm sapphire-blue Cubic Zirconias, and there are four more 1 mm blue CZs set onto either side of the band. All the stones are prong-set.

The setting is really lovely and dainty -- the band measures just 2 mm underneath the finger and reaches only 3 mm at its widest point. There is a nice gallery to admit light. What I think is one of the most attractive features of this ring, (and is not often seen in a piece of fashion jewelry) is where the prongs for the front and back three CZs go all the way down to the bottom of the gallery and have a slight flare.
