.fm transmitter. Can be used for an ipod, portable cd player to listen to music in your car. You tune your radio to one of the stations on the device. Plug yourge ipod or whatever your using in the transmitter, turn both on, and you are listening to your music through the radio.

The transmitter has pre set stations. I'm pretty sure it will work with about anything that plays music. You plug it in to the headphones port.
