The listing, Moonflowers---50 Fresh Seeds has ended.
This auction is for folks with smaller areas to cover, since the plants need to be spaced one foot apart...
Night-blooming moonflowers make a geat landscape addition. Mine were growing 2 to 3 feet tall this last Summer, and they would load up almost every night with a load of pretty, white blooms that had a pleasant , light aroma...This is an annual plant, that will reseed year after year, eventually making a big patch of them if you so desire... Blooms will stay open on a cloudy day after being open all night .Plant directly into ground after danger of late frost is past. .
I have read that , with good care and fertilization, and in better soil than mine, the Moonflowers will attain 4-8 feet in height... I am on sandy loam soil that dries out fast, and I am in Texas, where the Summer heat is a factor they will tolerate, but not excell in.
Soak seeds overnight before planting about 1/4" deep. Supplement normal rainfall so the seedling do not dry out---but not soggy.
Thanks for looking
