Up for auction is a Feltman Bros. baby dress and slip. 1960s. Hand embroidered; made in Philippines. Size 3 – 6 mo. (no size marked but that's the age my daughter was when she wore it). She wore it once – the day she was christened. Comes with matching slip.

Tiny pin tucks on dress front, with beautiful floral hand embroidery along bottom hem, finished with gorgeous lace! There are six tucks across the back and the Feltman Bros. label is on the inside back. Two-button closure.

The slip has a button closure on shoulder. They have been stored for 45 years, and have a slight yellowing in spots (which actually looks worse in the photos than actually is).

For some reason the lace and embroidery shows up as yellowed, but I think it's because the lace is of a different material than the dress. It doesn't look that different when you are just looking at it.

They should be bright as new after laundering, but I hesitate to do that because I know collectors like to launder their own special way. Actually, if they are being used for display, I would leave them as is, because it isn't noticeable unless held to a bright light.

I am including a second slip (last two photos) that I believe is from the same company, however the matching dress is gone, so not absolutely sure. This slip has one tiny spot that will probably launder out (didn't show up on photo).

Also a little pair of white socks with lace are included (only worn the same day as the christening dress and they are not pictured).

In any case, these were expensive items, and the starting credits will probably only pay for the shipping which is FREE. :)
