Description

The listing, Sixteen Watches has ended.

Various watches with dead batteries and/or broken wristbands. Some digital, some analog. My wife had them in a jar with the label "spare time", but I presented the argument, "Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care?" She relented so I can put these on our Listia account, but now I think she is having some sort of existential crisis.
Questions & Comments

It's nothing special, it doesn't seem to have a winding feature, probably actually battery operated. Looks like new, no brand name on it. I think I may have gotten it for Father's Day in the 90's.

Darn it, I had them all upright, I guess it flipped when I wasn't looking. It's a "Lord Lane" calendar watch. According to Google, that's Swiss.

I wound it up, and it seems to actually still work! The dome covering the face is a little scratched but does not inhibit viewing of the time.

Between the large blue one and the pocket watch? It actually have a mostly blue face. The brand name is "Relic"- It's a calendar watch for people with better eyes than I have. It's a nice watch, I think it just has a dead battery. I think I gave it to my wife for Christmas years ago, we just don't wear watches anymore.

Tim, I fanned you back- I have never really understood the purpose of the fan thing, do we get bonus points based on the number of fans? I started using it as a way to flag people who tend to offer the types of things that bid on, but got too many fan-back requests for that to work, so I just made a bookmark file for those people. But I really don't get why people care about the fan thing. Or Facebook likes, for that matter. Thanks for your interest
