Description

The listing, Set of 6 VINTAGE Dessert/Candy/Nut/Jewelry, dishes!! FANTASTIC AND IN MINT Condition!!!! has ended.

Great dessert dishes from my mother's cabinet. These were bought in the 1960's (early 60's) according to my mom. Rarely used, maybe once a year at Christmas. Very pretty glass, lovely effect in the light. Size is 4 1/2" by 5" (5" includes the handle) and a little over 1" deep.

Great to get for everyday use or save for a special holiday table No scratches that I can see, but they are 50 years old and there may be a mark or two I missed, but they are ALL beautiful. I just don't have room for them anymore or I'd keep them. I inherited her entire kitchen, just about...and am struggling to find places for everything!

These dishes can also be a place to toss your rings, watch, etc., after work or school. Put nuts, M&M's, candy, etc., around your home. Great for potpourri, votive candles (use aluminum foil under candle), just about anything you can think of!

Happy Bidding...

Sorry, all I have is paypal, but I will check into the concealed cash now and see what it's about. If I get it before the auction is over I will post it here. :)

Thanks! I'll fan you back. I love vintage as well. I love Estate sales, picking, garage sales, etc, etc, etc!!! Much to the dismay of my hubby!! LOL

As for concealed cash, NO, I will not do that. I've been a seller too long to do something like that, I just don't see how that's safe, or that there is any proof of sending it, or receiving it, even with delivery confirmation. I don't trust it, I'm sorry. Paypal only. I will be getting google checkout at some point but not sure if I can use it here.

Do people REALLY just send cash through the mail?????????? I thought it was some sort of thing online that you sign up for...I didn't realize it was just slipping actual cash in an envelope....

lol @ vintage, Yes people send cc. I have never done it. But i get it ever so often, wrapped up in the most unusual papers. (homework, magazine covers, etc.)

No way..LOL...I don't know, I spose it's not as big a deal here as it would be on Ebay, Etsy, etc., but still...I just don't want anything to go wrong and someone not get what they won because some postal worker got itchy hands...or my neighbor's rotten a$$ children took my mail, etc. It's just risky and I don't like risky when it comes to cash!! LOL I hope I don't offend anyone, I don't mean to at all.

PS..to watchers...this auction is going to be deleted if no bids, are made as this is a great auction, great vintage dishes that I could sell in my store, but chose to put here because I like it here and like the people and wanted to offer something nice, and vintage, that has a history in my family. So please do me, and my item right and bid appropriately. I don't want to delete it, but 100 credits is just WRONG, ya know? I know that's part of the deal, but even on Ebay I know what I'll get for the most part and now I'm scared here. Especially when I'm paying more than half the shipping. I know y'all understand that. Thanks, so much! Sandy

So check back, and someone PLEASE bid on my great dessert dishes. You won't be sorry! They're really nice! OH, and I'm considering some of my grandmother's old, old, old dishes..gotta think on that one and where I'd put it, here or in my shops?? Love y'all, love Listia!! :)

LOL! Thanks! :) I've taken pictures today to list some items for new auctions! Will list tomorrow if all goes as planned, if not, then Friday at the latest. BTW, does anyone know if it's against the rules to put your shop names somewhere in a reply on your own listings? Just curious...didn't know how they'd feel coming about that, but I'd be really happy for y'all to check out my shops online! :)
