Let's get started!
This is an auction for a fascinating necklace. The necklace is set on a 16 inch gold toned chain with a "c" clasp style closure. The pendant is about an inch in itself and features an intricate braided metal rope border around a resin "window" or little case. The case is then filled with real 14k gold flake that moves about freely. A black bead resides about the gold filled cameo window. The necklace comes in a beautiful rustic chocolate colored gift bag with gold butterflies to match the look!

Does this open? It looks like a hinge at the top of the pendant.

If you use an eyeglass kit and unscrew the hinge I'm sure it would open. It's just rather old and I'm scared to mess with it.

I make these. The Hinge as you call it is the screw area that holds the piece together. This is an older one. Imake newer ones in which the bezel and case is round. Nice Piece. Well worth a Bid. :)
