Showbiz Pizza was the original "Chuck E. Cheese". It went out of business to it's successor in the 1980's, but Showbiz Pizza is still infamous for creating the original 'pizza and games' idea. This game coin doesn't have a date on it, which means it's one of the earlier game coins created for Showbiz Pizza. It's goldish bronze in color. Some of the earlier coins were created from real bronze, but I don't believe this is one of those coins. It is fairly heavy though, and is made of some kind of metal material.

This coin shows some wear, but with a bit of cleaning could look as good as new. I'm not a coin expert, so I do not know how to clean coins- so I didn't clean it for fear of ruining its value.

One side of the coin reads "Showbiz Pizza Place" in the middle with their logo "Come for the pizza. Stay for the fun" around the edges.

The other side reads "Play Value: For use in Showbiz Pizza Place only" in the middle with the same logo "Come for the pizza. Stay for the fun" around the edges.

It's sort of just a neat little trinket for collectors of coins, food-chain memorabelia, Chuck E. Cheese, and pizza company items.
