This is a lovely piece of vintage jewellery...Something old to pin on a bridal bouquet? Or something nice to keep a knitted scarf or snood together when winter comes?
This lovely brooch is of genuine mother of pearl - crafted into a lovely orchid and set on a simple straight clasp.
The clasp is silver plated, there is no stamp and it's clear that the piece is aged, given the discolouration of the adhesive used on the clasp to attach it to the orchid.
