OK, I have to know: is this growing outside in SC? If so, it should grow here in God's Country (you know as Arkansas!), right? I have never tried any type palm; always afraid they won't make the winter. My next door neighbor has two in his yard; been there for four or so years; don't know what type they are.

Yes they have been outside here since I planted the seeds. And as you can see they are doing great. Extremely great! When I 1st typed listing I had 10 then decided to wait till they got a little bigger to post. So I decided to post them, got my camera out and noticed the smaller ones. So I planted 10 seeds ended up with 13 plants lol.

I love this tree! Charleston, SC is my favorite place in the world, but since I live in Illinois this will be my little bit of Charleston for me! Our summers are great for this tree, but I will have to bring it inside for the winter. Any suggestions on watering it?

Frequent watering is crucial for newly-planted palm trees.
Daily for about the first two weeks and then tapering off
over several months as the tree establishes itself.
Palm trees also require periodic fertilizer applications.
