The listing, Lebanese Summer Squash has ended.
These are also called Mid-East or Cousa squashes. They are bulbous-shaped light green squash with white speckles.
Robust crawly bushes are amazing croppers.
Pick fruits when they are young and tender or allow them to fatten for stuffing. In the Mid East they are hollowed out from the stem end and filled with a savory filling, then baked - yum!
I have read that, if left to mature, these develop into an acorn-type winter squash - don't know for sure: I ate all mine as fast as the bushes could produce them last summer!
50 days for summer squash.
This is an open-pollinated variety - so you can save the seeds, and get the same thing next year!
This auction is for 7 seeds - happy bidding!
