The listing, Play Staion 3 (Not Working) has ended.

WE auctioned off the original game console at ebay.

When the person who go this received it he swapped it out with this one then filed a complaint with paypal and claimed the original wasn't as described and we got stuck with a non working unit and a chargeback. despite having pictures of the serial number of the original and it not matching this one. Curious to say the least.

Anyway, I am sure it will make a great parts piece or someone may even be inclined to fix it who knows but I am disgusted with what transpired and don't want to mess with it anymore.

It is an 80 gig ps3 no controllers or chords are included(they didn't get shipped back along with the games that went with it another issue that paypal should have found in our favor)

I want to say first of all, that is very disgusting the way you were cheated. You would wonder why people like that have a place in this world? Well I think I can fix this or use it for parts so I'll be watching and bidding soon. Fanned you.

I agree with you. I do not like the way how e-bay favor in other party when someone just cheated you. My wife sold her louis vuitton bag to some lady on e-bay. One month later she claims that it was a fake and wanted to exchange for your money back. I should know if it was a fake or not because i was the one who went to the louis vuitton store and bought it for her as a gift. Also what sucks too is you lose your shipping money that you sent and the % that they get when you sold on e-bay with paypal.

exactly, that is why I never sell on ebay anymore and opened up my own store to sell from, don't get as much exposure that way but it's better when I have more weight when it comes to handling disputes.

not really worth the headache considering the value. But we do have the pictures taken of the serial number floating around on a disk though. It appears he tried removing the serial number off of the ps3 he sent back but didn't have any luck and was just hoping we wouldn't catch it. Problem is, is that paypal doesn't really care as they are geared more towards their own image and not getting a bad rap for doing the right thing. The buyers are what keep them in business by using them as their method of paying for things.

I feel for ya, I got done the same way with a new cellphone, they purchased my new one and returned a different one and got the money back through paypal.I even got a sighned paper from a notary for paypal as they requested, and still didn't get my money.

This isn't the first time they have done this. The fact that ebay is a paypal company, makes it even harder to protect yourself as a seller. They like to lean towards the buyer, which is really dumb because the more this sort of things the more sellers look for alternative payment processors. I just wish the online selling community would wise up and get it done quicker

I think you can get a set for 19-20 bucks at walmart The controllers are a different story but again I am not too sure.

sounds like the famous ylod ps3 first modelsare grand for over heating even some of the new slim models have been comming up wth this problem easy fix if you are good working with small parts
