Yes I'm crazy!!! But I want the points, like, yesterday. So I'm doing a walmart gift card worth $5 with the get it now option! Plus it's only a three day auction!

Why bid on the GIN, if you can win the same gift card for alot lower points??? I don't really understand this auction...

It's kinda like a bet. You're betting that the bids will go higher than the GIN. So you're avoiding that by using GIN. (Like bribing the auctioner to not put something on the auction block by paying him directly).
Also if bids get over 50% of the GIN price the GIN option disappears.
