Description

The listing, Slabbed U.S Barber series + V nickel and indian head penny 1883-1906 has ended.

This is for a set of slabbed coins that includes the following coins
1899 barber half dollar 90% silver valued at around 15$ this is a nice early date
1903 barber quarter valued at around 8$ also 90% silver
1906 barber dime also silver valued at around $2.50
1905 liberty v nickel valued at around 2$
1883 Indian head cent valued at around 5$
All these values were taken from the coin "red book" the leading coin value guide.
Total value = 32.50$ just for the coins out of the holder.
A quick search will turn up numerous listings on ebay of these sets where people are selling them for 15$.. If you look though the dates they list on their sets are different and the quality of the coins in the holder is much worse. You get what you pay for. Several of these dates are really nice early dates regardless of their vg-4 condition. All the coins are at about vg-4 except the barber half which is a little higher.
the case has some scratches on it , but the coins are sealed in that air tight container and are nice and safe.

Shipping will be free at 2500 credits.
first class mail with delivery confirmation and insurance anywhere in the continental u.s.

american historic society or something... They are a shifty company. Lots of complaints against them and I think they changed their name and or went out of business. I think the set was purchased around 1995. "hence the scratches on the case" For this companies shiftiness is why i didn't add value for encapsulation. The values shown are for coins that are "raw" and would be accurate if you cracked these out the case.

Reward for 3k+ credits will be a XF-40+ mercury dime. Currently have this beatuy in an ultra sonic machine to get some minor gunk off. Noted ultra sonics are not considered "cleaned" coin because it leaves no marks and does not remove toning if done correctly and with only distilled water. The horizontal bands are not split on the coin , but the diagnal and vertical bands are shape and the coin has nice toning.

other rewards are yet to be determined... I have to keep digging.
