In my stash of OLD collections, I found these mini doilies or appliques made in the early 1900's tatting, or tatting, these are delicate little hand made and about 2-1/2 inches diameter average. They vary about 1/4 inch. Nice ecru or dark ivory in color, they are gorgeous accents for sewing, adding to a fine fabric, making pendants, jewelery, necklaces, wristlettes, hoop earrings. Perhaps hair fasteners. They are soft, not stiff so they can be starched if desired.
