Will not work in PS3. The PS3 needs a 2.5" SATA (laptop) HDD in it.

no it will not work for ps3. you need a sata hard drive up to 250 gig.

Anytime. You can actually use a 1TB HDD in a PS3 :) Its what I have in mine. If I win this, i don't need any OS on it. It will be in my Xbox or PS2

I know. The original Xbox uses 3.5" IDE HDDs and the PS2 network adapter allows the use of 3.5" IDE HDDs with a phat PS2. I know all about what these HDDs can be used for. Just because they are made for a desktop, doesn't mean that's the only use for them. I could make it an external HDD if I so desired
