I have 10 extra Texas Bluebonnet seeds.

I love the pretty flowers, but I also love the story behind them.

Texas Bluebonnet is the state flower of Texas, and it seems that there was quite some debate, not only as to what flower to choose as the state flower, but also, once the Bluebonnet was chosen in 1901, as to which variety of Bluebonnet to choose. The debate went on until 1971, when it was finally declared that ALL varieties of the Bluebonnet would be the official flower of the great state of Texas!
My Fiance's family is from Texas, so I had to get some of these to plant for him.

They are a wildflower that grows best in sun/partial shade. The package states that they can be grown anywhere as a self seeding hardy annual. Hope that helps : )
