Stamped into the metal on the bottom is Mattel Inc. 1969. {Is this the year of manufacture?} I know that I have owned it for about 20 years.

No one claimed it was a "redline" { whatever a redline is???} and as for its age, its exactly as I described and ask about ---- 1969 is stamped on the bottom. LOOK at the picture. I have had this car in my home approximately 20 years. This is a fact that you have absolutely no knowledge about. Please don't leave inappropiate comments on my auctions again.

I went onto E-Bay and found several Police Paddy Wagon that are listed as REDLINE. They appear to be identical. They have listed sales prices ranging from $8.00 to $80.00 Plus shipping. You can view these cars as I have done and compare photos yourself. You decide!!!

Thank You I appreciate an honest and appropiate evaluation. However, as to age I have owned this car for approximately 20 years. It was owned and played with by my nephew who is now 24. I purchased it used at a yardsale for him when he was 4 or 5. If I remember correctly, I paid 10cents each for them. I have no knowledge of the value and did not claim a value. I just know that it is "old" as stated.

If you read above, I believe that I paid 10 cents for these. I bought 8 or 10 cars that day, so my bratty little nephew would quit begging me. It cost me a dollar, but those cars sure kept him occupied for hours. I only had 3 left after all these years. LOL

Yes after I listed these 3 cars I got on E-Bay and started looking. I was shocked to see the prices on many of these cars. Wow my son had a million of these cars.
