Black Peony Poppy

The Peony Poppies are are a rare flower that provides beautiful background
coloring for any garden. Plants grow from 18-30 inches in height.

A New Moon plant, this annual plant has a dark purple double flower and grows
up to 3 feet tall. This is an older version of Black Cloud, , it is quite frilly
and very Victorian in appearance, but this type and color of poppy has surprisingly
been grown since the Middle Ages. Stunning dark purple peony-shaped flowers reach
5 inches across! One glance, and Black Peony's radiant color will catch and hold your
eye. Plants grow to 4 feet. Germination code: (4) In the same family as California Poppy,
and primarily native to the Old World, these poppies are graced with more abundant foliage
and larger flowers. They bloom from mid to late-summer, and the season can be extended if
they are kept dead-headed. Will self sow.

I WILL NO LONGER BE RE-SENDING SEEDS.

Ohhhh ... that's so sweet ... at the risk of disappointing you,
I actually haven't been able to plant any yet. I was
plant some here, but now I am going t moving north.
So now I will have to wait til I get moved to plant. I
just hope it isn't too late. :) When I buy seeds for
myself, I buy enough for Listia also! : ) I hope you
are not terribly disappointed. ~

P.S. i've been cutting up 4"x6" pieces of bubble wrap and putting it in the envelope so the seeds dont get crushed. i was having the same problem with my seeds. the post office sends the envelopes thru that masher/barcode thing and its awful hard on em! UGH!

I know, and my larger seeds I do the same thing. I learned the hard way.
But honey, these seeds were like pepper! They were so tiny there is no
way they could have been damaged. We're talking about cactus seeds
and Poppy seeds. Then, after he got my seeds, got his credis back, and
I had already left him positive fb, he left "NEUTRAL" FB for me! He didn't even have to start a dispute, he just asked and I refunded. :(
