Antique cameo bracelet. Please see photos. The bracelet has a expandable band that is not connected on one side and missing a clasp if that is how it connects.
The back of the cameo reads Bob Roselind 3-27-40.

I actually believe this may have had no clasp to start with. Possibly a stretch bracelet. How long is the remaining section of the part that goes around the wrist? If it is expandable and there is not enough left it may be the kind of thing that is difficult to fix. Is the cameo resin or carved shell.

It is expandable. Unexpanded it is about 4". stretched out it is about 7". I'm not sure if it is resin or shell. I would guess resin.

Just an FYI for you...to be antique it has to be 100 years old. All the rest are considered vintage.

Thanks. It was engraved in 1940, it may be over 100 years old, I don't know the exact age.

hope this helps..this is called a sweetheart bracelet...a soldier gave it to his sweetie when he went overseas....mostly WW1 or WWII. This is an expansion bracelet and it is broken at the side that it is open and needs to be fixed. Since it is engraved and dated during wartime you have a nice piece but as I said cannot be worn this way. Good luck with your bids!
