Elecampane (Inula helenium) – Perennial - Germ: 4 - 30 days; Sow: Press into surface; Spring-Fall; Pre-chill; Full Sun; Yellow Blooms from July to August; harvest Dig up 2nd or 3rd year roots in the fall
Amaranth (Amaranthus hypochondriacus) – Annual - Germ: 3-15 days; Sow: 3/8"; Plant before last frost, begin indoors (transplanting when growth has reached 4-8 inches) or direct sow outdoors in fall; Full sun; Blooms Mid - Late Summer, Early Fall; Magenta, Fuchsia, Maroon
Calendula (Calendula officinalis) - Annual - Germ: 10 days; Sow: 1/4-1/2" deep; Spring; full or partial sun; Blooms orange and yellow flowers from June to November/Jun to Frost; Harvest flowers when they open. Reseeds it's self
