Do you know if this can be used for online purchases from the microsoft store? Or is it only "participating" retail locations? And if so, what locations? Thanks!

My husband thinks it can be used on the online store, I do not have a Microsoft store near my area that's why i am getting rid of it.

Ok, thanks. I wasn't totally sure about the GIN being added after bidding, coz I see people asking all the time and the FAQ doesn't say it can't be added (or at least I can't find it, lol). Tracking would be great. Gift cards are often lost in the mail, so that would worry me if we couldn't track it down. F&W!

Just an fyi, but when i went to the microsoft website tonight it says gift cards can only be redeemed at retail stores… so… cant use online.
