this is a vinyl record, a jazz record, did you not read any of the description above???? I normally do NOT reply to questions posted in the listings do to the large amount of records, comics, and other media I continue to provide my customers & friends I've met online since 2001, but every so often I catch a interesting question like yours that really amazes me!

records are the precurser to CDS and recently MP3s & illegal downloads, the were made out of a plastic type material called VINYL, they are formatted in ANOLOG, which is far superior to all other formats as it enables the listener to experience the true range of the music, the high & low ends of the spectrum as close as possible to how it was originally recorded. I hope this has been helpful to those of you who have never experience a RECORD. If you have any other quetions, please GOOGLE them. Have a nice day!
