Will it work on Windows 8.1? I have a new laptop coming today that has the 8.1. I would think that it would work but just want to know for sure

I put the other two on our laptops on Sunday. This will be a one year subscription no matter what date you put it on. If you don't activate it for six months, you still have one year once you put it in.

I have used Norton 360 for a few years and have better luck with it than some of the others I've tried

That was not how the subscription I had last year worked, once it was put on one the clock started on all of them. Which actually makes sense for them, otherwise someone could buy a multi-device and just keep reusing it as it ran out. With it just being used would still be a decent deal.

well, last year I used two out of three and three months later used the last one and it still had 1yr on it. Sorry, just giving my experience with it. Either way, it's been three days since I put two on our laptops.

Is it 2014 edition? What is the exp. date? Will this work beginning of 2015?

expiration date is one year after initial activation. I'm guessing it's my initial activation (6/22) although I had a third on last year that I didn't use for 6 months and had for one year on computer. Copyright is 2012, but I run Windows 8.1 which is this year. That's all I can say, just reading the box and giving my own experience.
