This digital still camera uses a floppy disk as media.
Use the following floppy disk type.
•Size: 3.5 inch
•Type: 2HD
•Capacity: 1.44 MB
•Format: MS-DOS format (512 bytes ´ 18 sector)
When using 3.5 inch, 2HD floppy disk other than described above, format it using the camera or personal computer .This camera operates only with the “InfoLITHIUM” battery packNP-F550*. “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack
The “InfoLITHIUM” is a lithium ion battery pack which can exchange data with compatible equipment about its battery consumption. ”InfoLITHIUM” is a trademark of Sony Corporation.

I have no idea, but I was told it is prefessional grade camera and takes some really good pics. I saw some online pics someone had taken with their camera like this and they looked good.

will it take any other card for memory like an SD card or just the floppy disk? also i was wondering if it had any internal memory and if so what size(MB)?

honestly, those are good questions and Im glad you asked but I just dont know. I dont think that it has a place for a memory card. Only the disk.

I really wish I could tell you more. I got this from listia a few days ago and right afterward my husband bought me a brand new camera so I didnt use this one. Looks really nice.

Thank You. Its a neat camera. I just prefer the real small pocket size camera's. Got kids who like to mess with everything so the small one hides easier, lol. And whoever gets this please send me your address asap so I can go to post office tomorrow before they close. It will ship Media Mail but it will take 5 days so If I can get it out for you tomorrow it should arrive Wensday or Thursday. (Maybe sooner) Thanks
