Description

The listing, ☞ ✭ Glow in the dark powder ✭ ☜ has ended.

Up for auction is glow in the dark pigment powder. The powder is yellowish in color and as you see in the pics glows green. You do need to activate the glow by placing near a light source. Any light source works like direct sunlight, florescent, and incandescent.

The first two pics of the powder are actually of it glowing and the pic was taken in a room that was no where near completely dark, so this glows great.

The third pic is of the powder with no glow.

You will get approx. 1/8 tsp in a baggie (not the baggie you see in the pics) which sounds like a small amount but if your mixing with acrylics or polish it's a good amount.

If you GIN you will get double the amount approx. 1/4 tsp (1.25 grams approx.) All pictures are of the actual product glowing,

I did not use any black light or photoshopping. I have mixed this with clear NYC polish and it works great. You do have to shake well (i added stainless steel ball bearings to mix it because clear usually doesn't have mixing beads) before use because it does settle. I also have used mixed with glitter as seen in pics 4 & 5. This can be used for other craft ideas as well.

Excellent weather and light fastness
Free of hazardous and radioactive substances

and how do you put this powder on your nails? just add it to nail polish?

You can do it a few different ways. You can add it to clear polish (but it does settle so you will need to shake good to get it to mix), you can add it to acyrlic (if you do acyrlic nails) or you can sprinkle on your nail while your top coat is still wet. If you only want it on certain areas of your nail or nail art you can use a paint brush liner and mix a small amt of glow powder with clear polish on a piece of saran wrap and paint it on the areas you want it. Hope this helps. :0)

You think its versatile? Could it be used for other things besides nails? Like crafting items maybe?

It sure can! It is solvent resistant so it can be mixed. Of course if you mix it with paint you want to mix it with a clear or very light color. The darker the item used to mix the powder with will dampen the results of the glow.

Glow powder can be used in some of the following ways
Glow Paint and Inks for brush painting, printing, for signage, decoration, path markers, etc.

More powder, higher percentage will produce brighter, longer glow.
Use a white, or light color as a background for best results. Any color other than white can diminish glow.
Use the clearest medium possible. Any pigment in the medium will decrease the brightness and length of glow.
Do not grind the Glow Powder, it will destroy the crystal structure and therefore decrease luminosity.

Not sure what your asking but I always try to ship the next day after auction ends unless it's Sunday then it would go out Monday. I ship usps first class so depending on your location it could take 3 to 5 days give or take a day.
