Questions & Comments
To all other Listians, helpful information for most is usually welcome, however there is the option of private messaging a seller with information before turning ones auction into a poo poo fest. Then if the seller doesn't update there info, then post publicly on message board. I know we all run into scammers on Listia, but what happend to giving the seller the benefit of the doubt. I don't think this seller was trying to be fraudulent in any way, just misinformed. I'm sure if any of us had an item for auction that was in ? We would be very happy to be privately messaged with information that we didn't have so we could have a more successful auction. If u have been burned I understand because I have too. But when u are a good listian and u get bombarded like this it can be very discouraging. Just my opinion to give the seller the chance to correct there auction before bringing negative attention to it. I don't think that that is what anyone was trying to do, but that's exactly what it did. Some folks are new at Listia and need freindly guidence in the begging.
all these so called watch experts or " self proclaimed experts " out there, giving you hell, but it seems they forget. ma'am, i'm by far no expert, but i do know that if you gently take the back cover off, "even if its a replica" there should be a series of numbers and jewels if there are then talk to a real expert. problem solved some of these guys i wouldn't even entertain the thoughts they've already expressed, let alone any futher..... have a great auction, and most important be happy!!!
Hey Mark, Lighten up on the Lady!_ NOT Everyone knows as much as you do when it Comes to Timepieces. She is just trying to Pass it on to Someone else to Enjoy! Plus, Aren't you Bidding on it?
Do "ALL" of the hands work or are they JUST for show!? I ask because SO many are offering Knock off or Junk watches here that should ne banned because unsuspecting people get burned. I am NOT trying to insult you. Just stating fact. SO please is this a totally functioning Watch? Thank you, F&W... Mick
Hey sweetie. Looks like everyone is attacking you. So sorry for their rudeness. Just tell us where you bought it and how much you paid for it. That will say more than serial numbers, etc. Fakes generally don't sell expensively. It should've also come with paperwork if it's real. Best of luck to you.
I took the back off and it said: No Jewels - Unadjusted (Uses 377/376 battery!!!) (NO MODEL NUMBER) After searching the internet...the best I can surmise is: Breitling Chrono Aeromarine Replica...Approx. price: $215 - $240!!! (Still a very nice watch!!!) :-)
My son received this watch (3 yrs. ago) as a gift from an old girlfriend (who cut all ties)!!! He does not know where it was purchased, how much it cost, or if it had papers!?!?!?!?! I have searched the internet and I found almost exact watches...but not this one!!! Please...I do not want to mislead anyone...It is a very nice watch...but I cannot prove it is authentic!!! Please bid on this watch as a replica!!!
I have just been informed...This Breitling watch is not authentic!!! It is a replica!!! So...please bid informed that this watch is a cheaper copy!!! :-)
even the replica brietling i have has its own serial number its 13045 so your brietling isnt even a replica the back gont even have the brietling back witch the brietling back has a design on it that kinda looks like a car rim with the lugs on it you im sorry to say have a fake
The watch does not actually say where it was made...I researched on the internet and saw they were made in Switzerland!!! Now after further research...I am not sure!!! I found the style of watch in the Divers series of watches...but still not exact match!?!?!
well i went ahead and bid ill try again i hope i get blessed and listia leaves this brietling alone i been lucky 1 time and got 1 brietling of listia but have lost 2 others because of listia lol them and that stupid rule
ill bet it dont go the 7 days if listia thinks it a replica or a fake they will delete your auction i have bid on 2 other brietlings and listia removed them because they thought they were replica,s even tho people want to buy them i got mad and even told listia that thats not rite if people want them how can you do that they told me read the rules i still told listia its wrong
