I'm not 100% sure that it matters since it doesn't say on the packaging. I assume that it should work for both types.

They're electric. Acoustic strings are NOT the same! Just wanted to help clarify :-)

I'm sorry to hear that. I know how that goes too though. Sadly I don't generally get instrument supplies or I'd look into putting up a similar auction. There may be other Guitar String auctions on the site though.
