Columbine are awesome spring plants. Beautiful pink flowers. The foilage is pretty and gets about a foot or so tall and shoots up flowers on thin stalks about 2 or 3 feet tall.

Low maintenance. Perennial so ig will come back every year. If your winters arent to bad it will actually stivk around. At least mine do but I mulch well.

The seeds are tiny and need a couple weeks of cold to sprout. You can do that in the fridge but I always prefer just to plant them in the fall and forget about it until they come up in the spring.
