VERY GOOD SHAPE, PRIVATELY OWNED,IMMACULATE! hilarious but now seems a little derogatory to African-Americans. 1930, B&W Running Time 85 Min. Recorded in EP (Extended Play)Mode-- Madacy Music Group. Stars Freeman Gosden, Chas.Correll--and later Amos & Andy had a hit radio show where near everyone, playing black ameriacns, spoke in black dialect. You'd have to be a very senior citizen to recall---and I do!
Plot: Amos and Andy are in the middle of a love triangle and end up helping the two without even knowing it amid a lot of funny situations and even with the passing of soooo much time has not dampened their humor!. They still are really wonderful. This is nostalgia all right-- There was even sheet music with the guys on the cover titled "Check & Double Check" i had it once but where is it today--so you'll hear the song in the film. Directed by Melville Brown. A real oldie!! Talkies has just started a couple of years earlier. So the customary sounds are of early film as we were still learning and didn't have the tech. we slowly got thru the decades. Enjoyable!! Fun!! Free Postage!!
