Is there any id marks or history? Avon maybe?

The only history I know of about it that daddy got it back in the 40s at some point. Then it had liquor in the decanter but I am not sure where he got it from. And on the ID marks, there are none that I can see. I did not take the battery compartment closure off and look in there for any ID marks. It didn't come from Avon, I do know that much about it.

Daddy always told a story about it though. He said it came from a bootlegger back in the 40s. Daddy was in law enforcement my entire life and said that it was something he acquired from one of his law enforcement experiences.

is the car metal?

Yes the body is metal but the tires including the spare tire is a hard plastic. It even rolls like a car should.

Most of these were made in Japan during the 60s, quite popular with folks who could not afford a full size bar.
